Nitro Fuel Calculator
Adjust your existing model fuel. Work out how much methanol and oil to add to reach your chosen nitro and oil percentages.
Enter percentages by volume from your fuel specification. Use Oil 1 and Oil 2 consistently for the same oils in both columns. If you use one oil, set Oil 2 to 0%.
How the calculation works
The nitro already in your fuel stays constant. Final volume = existing volume × existing nitro % ÷ target nitro %. Each oil addition is the target oil volume minus the oil already present. Methanol makes up the remaining addition.
A target that requires removing an ingredient cannot be achieved by adding methanol and oils. For fuel with no nitro, there is no unique final volume from these inputs; this calculator needs a positive starting and target nitro percentage.
Check your engine and fuel manufacturer’s requirements before choosing a mix. This tool calculates proportions; it does not assess ingredient compatibility or engine suitability.
